Airfoil2BECAS is a Python program that generates input files for analyzing a cross-section of a wind turbine blade with BECAS. The script only needs the airfoil coordinates, layup information, and material data as input. It then creates a 2D-mesh of the cross-section along with the corresponding material and orientation assignments in BECAS format.
Airfoil2BECAS is part of BECAS v3.3 and distributed as Python source code covered by the BECAS v3.3 license.
