Ansys, one of the largest engineering simulation software companies in the world, includes an interface to BECAS v3.3. The interface is included in Ansys Composite PrepPost, a powerful pre- and post-processing tool specifically developed to model complex composite structures.
Users of Ansys have the option to utilize Ansys Composite PrepPost's exceptional modeling capabilities to create their models and smoothly export them to BECAS v3.3. Moreover, BECAS (v3.3 or an earlier version) has the feature of exporting the mechanical properties of a cross-section to Ansys using Ansys Parametric Design Language (APDL).
Alternatively, models created in Ansys PrePost can be analyzed in BECAS and used in, for example, aeroelastic analysis of wind turbine blades in
HAWC2 or HAWCStab2
